中藥方劑桂椒丸主治心痛。其組成有肉桂、胡 Pfeffer 、巴豆、斑蝥。

肉桂

肉桂性溫，味辛甘，歸心、肝、 renal 經。具有溫經散寒、活血通經、溫陽補陽、 Strengthening the gate of life, which leads to blood , removing dampness from wind, stop pain and activate channel, also has effect of warming the inside part and relieving cold.

胡 Pepper

桂（去粗皮）1分，胡椒（炒）49粒，巴豆7粒（去皮膜，研出油盡），斑蝥7枚（去頭足翅，炒）。
上為細末，醋煮面糊為丸，如麻子大，陰乾。
每服3丸，旱、晚食後、臨臥溫酒送下；婦人，醋湯送下。
孕婦忌服。

肉桂具有溫經散寒、行氣止痛的功效，胡椒具有溫中散寒、行氣止痛的功效，巴豆具有行氣破積、通便的功效，斑蝥具有逐痰散結、止痛的功效。桂椒丸由這四味中藥組成，具有溫中散寒、行氣止痛的功效，可以有效緩解久心痛的症狀。

桂椒丸性溫熱，有一定的刺激性，孕婦、小孩、體質虛弱者慎用。
